In 1997 the Erasmus Foundation, which was a Dutch Cultural orgainisation asked me to submit a work which was going to be part of an exhibition called "A Homage to Rembrandt". The exhibitionwas to coinside with the Rembrandt Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. There were problems with the administration of the exhibition and the painting was never shown, it was actually not completed until 2004. |
